Most puzzles are disposable. They’re completed once, put back in a box, and forgotten.

Slate Puzzle was created to be different. Each puzzle is cut from solid aluminum, protected through a patent-pending process, and laser-etched with artwork chosen to age well, not trend. Every piece has weight. The surface is etched, not printed. When finished, it becomes an object—part puzzle, part display piece.

This isn’t about speed or difficulty. It’s about the experience of making something with your hands that doesn’t disappear when you’re done.

We produce Slate Puzzles in small batches. Precision manufacturing, material quality, and finishing don’t scale cheaply, and we don’t take shortcuts. Limiting each run lets us maintain consistency and intention. When a batch is gone, it’s gone.

Slate Puzzle began with a simple question: what would a puzzle look like if it were treated like a design object instead of a toy?
